EETUR | 1st Eetur Workshop Energy Efficiency And Renewable Energies

The 1st EETur Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies Workshop on “Business Models and Opportunities for Algarve Hospitality” took place on 5 December in the auditorium of the NERA (Business Association of the Algarve Region) in Loulé.

The main objective of the Workshop was the dissemination of good practices, technologies and business models available for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies, presenting examples of success and financing opportunities, thus demonstrating the potential of the economic impact of Energy Efficiency in tourism ventures.

The event also had an area for exhibiting energy products and services as well as a space for bilateral meetings / networking sessions (B2B). About 15 energy service companies presented their products and technologies in the exhibition space.

The event was attended by about 100 participants from various entities related to the energy and tourism sectors. This initiative served to attract the attention of companies in the sector of tourist enterprises, suppliers of energy technologies and services, in order to stimulate interest in the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in these buildings.

The event was promoted by ISQ (Institute of Welding and Quality) with the support of regional partners, AHETA (Association of Hotels and Tourist Enterprises of the Algarve, NERA (Business Association of the Algarve Region) and ENERCOUTIM (Solar Energy Association of Alcoutim ) under the EETur project, funded by the CRESC ALGARVE 2020 Program under the Incentive System for Collective Actions.
