We’re thrilled to announce that Enercoutim is hosting two distinguished researchers from the PEARLS – Planning and Engagement Arenas for Renewable Energy LandscapeS project.
Meet Jesús Felicidades-García from the University of Huelva, Spain, and Sara Favargiotti from the University of Trento, Italy. Over the next few weeks, they’ll be diving deep into the intricacies of renewable energy landscapes in Portugal.
Their timely research aims to enhance EU speed and scale of integrating solar parks, wind parks, and green hydrogen production facilities harmoniously into surroundings – study of both the physical attributes of these areas and the social dynamics at play as well technological consideration.
️ Why is this significant? As we march forward in our quest for a greener future, understanding the optimal deployment of renewable energy infrastructures becomes paramount. Especially in light of Europe’s ambitious goal of decarbonising its economy and energy transition 2030 plans.
